    Comedy

    Theodore M.E. Taylor is a dynamic comedian known for his sharp, theatrical storytelling and undeniable stage presence. Born in Liberia and raised in Texas, Taylor’s journey from a large, close-knit family to the comedy stage has shaped a voice that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.

    He began performing at a young age and later honed his craft in Houston, where he was named Houston’s Funniest Person in 2011. His ability to turn real life experiences into compelling, laugh out loud moments has earned him opportunities to perform alongside and open for some of comedy’s most respected names.

    In 2020, Taylor took his talents to Los Angeles, continuing to build momentum despite the challenges of a global pandemic. His persistence paid off when he earned Best in Fest at the 2023 Burbank Comedy Festival, leading to a partnership with Comedy Dynamics to produce and distribute his stand up special.

    His debut special, BowTie Guy, filmed at Houston’s historic Deluxe Theater, showcases his signature blend of storytelling, timing, and authenticity. With a growing national presence and a style rooted in truth, Theodore M.E. Taylor continues to establish himself as a must-watch voice in comedy.
