Moombahton happened because the kids at a party wanted to perrear. But they didn’t realize how much they wanted to rave as well. Moombah literally met the world halfway, marrying the dembow riddim with the low-end bass frequencies of house music; all at a sexy tempo of 108 bpm. Thus making the global Moombahton Massive parties the genre’s ultimate experience and OG’s of the current widely popular “perreo rave.”
And that was just the beginning…. Moombahton would quickly inspire a worldwide community from countless dedicated underground producers to some of the biggest pop artists around, from Drake to Justin Bieber, from afrobeats (amapiano) to techno (sabo + sol selectas).
Moombahton Massive has collaborated with Skrillex, Diplo/Major Lazer and Dillon Francis, held residencies in LA, NYC, Miami, & DC, and hosted festival stages in Mexico, Spain, Berlin, Colombia, and Venezuela at events such as HARD, Holy Ship!, and EDC performing to thousands of diehard moombahton fans worldwide.
