Joe Jordan is forging his own path through an evolving music industry and is literally writing his own story with heartfelt songs inspired by his life, his everyday relatable struggles, and his family that he loves more than anything in this world.  After years as a songwriter for others, and years more grinding his way from Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Cincinnati, Ohio, and from there around the world playing songs for others, he’s proudly releasing his debut full length album “The Heart Sessions” on August 18th, 2026.   Growing up in the small town of Woonsocket, RI, Joe had an extremely music centered childhood, even playing in a band and singing regularly with his family in any venue that would have them. After connecting with Mountain Road, a multi-faceted music company based in Cincinnati, OH, Joe and his wife Alley moved to Cincinnati where they’ve lived ever since raising their 4 amazing kids, all under the age of 8. Working together with his family, Joe spent several years as a successful songwriter before embarking on an independent artist career in 2023.  With the help of the Mountain Road crew, Joe steadily built an impressive audience for his heartfelt and expressively melodic music, which led to millions of streams and the inevitable attention of many major record labels, culminating with Joe signing to the storied Atlantic Records in 2024. However, timing is everything as they say and Joe was coming in the door almost exactly as one-third of the staff at Atlantic Records was heading out the door and the company was heavily re-structuring under new leadership. Luckily, Joe was able to secure his release from his contract in mid-2025 and went right back to releasing music independently with Mountain Road and found even greater success, breaking through the 50 million stream mark and starting to tour in earnest. Then, starting in 2026 Joe and Mountain Road took their next step by partnering with the NYC based boutique record label Rix Records (GoldFord, Go-Jo, Lauren Sanderson) to start on the road to his debut album.  “The Heart Sessions is the most honest thing I’ve ever created. It’s a collection of songs about love, heartbreak, addiction, depression, faith, forgiveness, and the long road toward healing. Every lyric comes from a real wound, a real struggle, or real moments of love that changed me. These aren’t just songs- they’re therapy sessions I had with myself. This album is my heart, exactly as it is. I hope these songs heal others as much as they’ve healed me.” Even before his debut album is out, Joe Jordan has already found great success with well over 150,000,000 streams and multiple playlist features from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora / Sirius XM and others. He’s sold out shows all over the country and even sold out his first overseas show in London. Nathaniel Riley, a folk singer/songwriter from South Dakota, put in his time working the small family farm and recording melancholic melodies in his basement. Treading with years of grief that constructed a cloud full of songs that Nathaniel lugged to Colorado began the process of his debut full length album, “Bird Songs” Nathaniel’s songscapes lean on your heartstrings, unpacking melodies like a nostalgic lucid dream. Acoustically driven, wistful lyricism and ambient instrumentation provide the bedrock for his contemporary folktales. Compiling miles of desolation, heartache, introspection and memories of the forest and the prairie’s whistle that convey him to persist. Empowering his songs their role, to be a beacon on the hill.  The sound and songs arrived abundantly, easily and honestly. Nathaniel began recording his album “Bird Songs”, with Aaron Youngberg at Swingfingers Recording Studios in Fort Collins, Colorado in September of 2020. Darren Garvey came on as a producer for the record, bringing a grass-roots perspective and an experimental, contemporary ear.  “I always loved pushing the boundaries of genres and wanted to create something familiar to myself in a couple different ways. One of which was to bring ambient ethereal sounds to the record that may not be commonly found on records claiming to be primarily folk,” says Riley.  “I love the process of recording and the almost immortal aspect it provides,” Riley says. “You will forever hear the person’s skin on the strings, the breath before they sing. Living proof of somebody being alive, and it remains there, like a little memory box of sound forever. Itself, never changing.”
