Boys With Blue started when two boys–Elijah Adkins and Noah Helland–met each other in the 6th grade in a suburb just northeast of Colorado Springs. Determined, the two boys started writing songs on a school iPad. On this iPad their debut single “Wanna Understand You” took form. Lots of all-nighters later, they released the single to anyone willing to listen.
As soon as they released “Wanna Understand You”, the duo set their eyes on their next single, “Peter Pan”. They used the momentum they gained from these two songs to release their debut EP. A separate project from the two singles, “Pensive” shows Boys With Blue capturing the beginning of what they could only assume was an extremely important piece of their lives. The EP shows off various styles, from the electric opening track “DOPAMINE” to the ukulele and piano driven ballad “we’re just friends”.
The duo might not know where they’re going next, but driven by live music and every moment of growth, they are already working on new music that has been molded by their live shows and the people who have invested in it.
