A Benefit for Axton’s Mom!
In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire Krayola.
Club Malos is Ryne Holmquist and Jim Sanders, a raw rhythmic twangy two-piece pulling no punches and playing like a couple of assholes.
Born from a dream in 2004 and brought to the physical world proper in 2008, the S.O.L. have accepted the obligation to wake up the masses and give the people the soundtrack the cause of freedom deserves. The Statutes of Liberty are a group of like-minded players from various noteworthy Chicago bands that play a scorching 21st century version of freedom rock. The Statutes are a full blast, full-on, full-tilt-boogie, star-spangled spectacle….thoroughly entertaining, occasionally face-melting, and always fun!
Founding member of the Mekons, Three Johns and Waco Brothers. Jon paints and plays music in Chicago.
