PORCHES bring “uneasy harmonies and organ drones while ripping out the low-end that keeps Maine's stoned reveries grounded...It's less twee than Frankie Cosmos, but every bit as strange.” In the summer of 2013, record label Exploding in Sound issued PORCHES' first full-length album, Slow Dance in the Cosmos. Essentially a home recording by Maine, Pool was mixed by Chris Coady (BEACH HOUSE_ and featured guest vocals by partner and frequent collaborator FRANKIE COSMOS (aka Greta Kline). HOOPS is a Bloomington, Indiana band rocking lo-fi pop like it's nobody's buisness. They just announced their signing to Fat Possum records AND their upcoming record release. Come out tonight so you can say "I saw them when..."
