Additional Information

KAVUS is excited to have finally arrived to the release of their debut album, "Nice To Meet You Again." The conception of the album began back in 2009. However, with the graciousness of Michael Teach, Chicago Acoustic Underground (www.chicagoacoustic.net,) CAUDog Records (www.caudogrecords.com) and Ellis Clark of Angel City Studios, the dream has turned into a reality. Before this point, however, the band/duo/what have you came from weirder roots...

WhiteWolfSonicPrincess emerged from the great local music scene in Chicago. We evolved out of the Black Forest Theater Company, a fringe theater in Chicago. We started incorporating live music into our theatrical productions a few years ago and we began to build a set of original songs from there. Our band started out as a duo and has blossomed into a five piece band (vocalist, guitar, violin, bass and drums) with occasional guests. Many of our performances incorporate a multi-media approach, mixing music, video and dance. Our self-recorded, self-produced set of music titled, "This Car Available, Reloaded & Remastered" is now available as a CD at CD BABY and is a digital download available on ITunes, Rhapsody, Napster and Amazon!

Masters of their instruments and wizards of improvisation, Gunnelpumpers is a unique ensemble that creates compelling worlds of sound from seemingly nothing. Connected to each other, their instruments and their environment, they are able to draw forth music that is fresh, unadulterated, and rarely premeditated. Their music is infused with a myriad of styles in ways that sound like nothing else.

These things are always tough because they set you up for sounding like a self-centered jerk. How about this? I play and record some songs, with the help of my brother Vince if I can. Maybe you come check out a gig? Maybe you check out a gig, and we can talk about my influences, bio, what it all means, etc, then? Ok, sounds good.
