London-based, much-buzzed about audio/visual collective BRETON return to the US for a headlining tour following their support run with WE WERE PROMISED JETPACKS last spring.  On the strength of their acclaimed debut LP, Other People’s Problems out via Fat Cat Records, postmodern post-punk and electro provocative live show and gripping videos, BRETON have received glowing praise from both sides of the pond including Interview, NYLON, NME, Q, MOJO, XLR8R, eMusic - who called the LP, “a joyful rummage through the past 20 years of electronic music” – and Alternative Press, who declared the effort “easily one of the best debuts of 2012 – or 2022, for that matter,” while Complex included the record in their “Top 50 Best Albums of 2012 (So Far).”  We predict this show will go down in the “I was here when,” files, so do not miss this British fivesome.  They’re joined for a portion of the US dates by NYers BIG SLEEP, supporting their newest LP on French Kiss Records, Nature Experiments.  Building on the impressive majesty of their last LP, the new effort features front people DANNY BARRIA and SONYA BALCHANDANI trading off on vocals, monster guitar riffs, propulsive bass and embellished flickering electronics, creating death disco grooves and heavy metal thunder rushes with equal aplomb.  KNIFE FIGHT, the dance project of EPHRAIM CUELLAR, has been carving its way through the Chicago night life scene with sharp free form sets that include everything from the tropical sounds of Latin house and moombahton to heavy bass and hip-hip.  His first release is a collaboration EP with LEMI VICE, The Knife Vice EP, out in March via Rad Summer.
