Holiday House makes music that bleeds. Their music is honest, brooding and hopeful in one fell swoop. Curious guitar riffs interwoven with Synthesizer, Pounding rhythm and violin provide the canvas for Andrea Donahue’s soaring female vocals to lift the music and live show to an a genuinely unique and emotional experience.
Aloysius is a U.S.A. male named john who plays guitar and writes songs. the smack and thud revue is a u.s.a. male named Steve who hits drums. they play rock music and tend to drink whole bunches of whiskey. John likes to jump around and yell and wants you to do the same, or at least to go 'hey, check out that guy jumping around and yelling, he's something.' Steve thinks he is the James Dean of drumming. And who are we to argue?
Teeth cut on the underground folk scene picking strings in bars, garages, living rooms, and tents in living rooms, Chi-town songwriter Theodore Gerstle IV moved to the windiest city from the sealess shores of Tucson, the whole way trading songs for beers and beers for whiskey. California tang infuses a Wisconsin folk sensibility with a woody hum sparking from the old silvertone ax slung round his neck.
POST CHILD is a post-grunge rock band led by Bryan Alvarez (Your Motherhip/Chicken Happen/Psychedelic Buffalo) whose style brings togethers aspects of 90s grunge, 60s pop, with a progressive blend of psychedelic jams. Formed in Aberdeen, UK in 2011, Bryan has continued Post Child in his home town of Chicago after a series of UK performances in Scotland and Ireland. POST CHILD will be releasing its debut EP this summer as well as a full length album hopefully by the end of the year.
