The Norcal Chapter of AIWF and our good friends at Pinot Days present the return of Fili-Pinot! featuring Filipino inspired dishes exquisitely paired with Pinot Noirs.
Our dinner will feature Chef Tim Luym's cuisine each matched with a different specially selected Pinot Noir. This should be a fun educational experience as we once again explore the versatility of this noble grape variety with a cuisine that is not your everyday wine dinner. Filipino cuisine has many influences due to the different settlers over the history of the Philippines. Chef Luym will take full advantage of that range to craft a menu for our pleasure. Tim and Attic have continued to deliver on the buzz over this past year and we cannot wait to do this dinner again. Chef Tim has been named a Rising Star Chef by the Chronicle and is a James Beard Rising Star nominee.
Each of our tasting courses will be served with the one pinot noir that best accentuates the dish and the wine. Pinot Days has lined up some amazing Pinot producers representing a cross-section of styles that will complement the food: Benovia, Couloir, Failla, Native9, Scherrer, Wind Gap, and Windy Oaks.
