Additional Information

The master of a raw and shambolic fusion of rockabilly, blues, and fractured noise, TAV FALCO was, along with the CRAMPS, one of the earliest purveyors of what would come to be known as psychobilly, and he anticipated the fractured but hard-hitting blues wailing of THE GORIES and the JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION by close to a decade. Well, holy schnikeys, Mr. FALCO and his band, THE PANTHER BURNS, make their way to the Bottle tonight to burn the hearts and minds of all those who love ‘em (young and old!), and you're gonna want to pick up a copy of their new live album, 2012's Live in London. It's a record that sees the band at the height of their live power so we can only expect the best from this show that's coming our way this evening. Detroit's masters of heavy soul, THE SIGHTS are a five-piece rock 'n' roll band renowned for both their incendiary live shows and acclaimed song-writing. Hailed by critics and fans alike, NME has called them “a revelation - a treasure trove of sparky and wildly immediate songwriting" and the band continues to build on an incredible 14-year legacy of uncanny blues-rock meets power pop. Marrying straight ahead rock with some serious fuzzed-out guitars, Chicago's THE BINGERS return for their first time since opening for the legendary MAN OR ASTRO-MAN? in June. These guys just get on all the best shows - and for good reason - and tonight they return with their sweet summer sidewalk jams that contain an undercurrent of dangerous reverb. Oak Park resident DANIEL FROMBERG released his first album on Chicago’s Teen River label at the age of 11... Let that sink in, just for a second. He's now 13 and he's already put four more collections of experimental noise pop to tape. He's performed in New York and Chicago. There seems to be no stopping this youngster - Cassette Gods calls him a “prodigy kid with guitar” who “shows off a precocious knowledge of everything from classic rock to Elephant 6 style homemade sounds.” Our pal Gonzo Chicago sums it up: “He rules!” Wow what a world.
