ZZ Ward:The praise for Ward’s gifted vocal abilities has been ongoing since the release of her Eleven Roses mixtape, leading into the Criminal EP, and continues with her recently released debut album, Til The Casket Drops. Although Ward had the help of an impressive list of acclaimed producers and collaborators, Til The Casket Drops is all ZZ Ward. The talented artist wrote the majority of the 13 stellar tracks and leaves an indelible mark on each. Her unique smoky rasp embodies the blues greats who have inspired her, but it’s the hip-hop flavor that adds a bold freshness to her musical artistry. Live, Ward’s blues-soaked, hip-hop inspired repertoire explodes as her dynamic vocals captivate with a force.

Delta Rae:It's been a wild couple months for six piece rock band delta Delta Rae. Their debut album, Carry The Fire, came out this past June (iTunes) and to celebrate, Delta Rae performed their single "Bottom Of The River" on The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno. The show liked them so much, they invited them back for round two last night to perform "Fire." In between Leno trips, the band performed on Conan, were featured on NPR's "All Things Considered" and hand selected by Rolling Stone as an "Artist To Watch" for their Women Who Rock campaign. RS flatteringly compared Delta Rae to their favorite band of all time, claiming "If Fleetwood Mac came up in North Carolina, they might resemble Delta Rae." They've been championed by VH1, who selected them as their "You Oughta Know" Artist Of The Month for October, USA Today, who premiered their new video for "Dance In The Graveyards," KCRW, Billboard, Forbes and ELLE among others. Live is where Delta Rae truly flourish. The band recently sold out headlining gigs at Bowery Ballroom in NYC, The Independent in San Francisco, The Troubadour in LA and in their hometown of Durham, NC at Carolina Theatre. The band tours relentlessly and will be traversing across the country for the foreseeable future. Do yourself a favor and check out a show.
