We used to think too much; now we don't think enough.
-
An irresistible mix tape of iridescent indie-pop and sparkling rock, Model Shop’s catchy hooks and sunshine-laced melodies will be the soundtrack to your summer drive, no matter what time of year. With a sound reminiscent of Death Cab, The Ocean Blue, The New Pornographers, and Teenage Fanclub—Model Shop leaves every room they play wanting more.
Formed at the precipice of a pandemic, Model Shop’s Kevin Emerson, Ethan Jones (Math and Physics Club, Central Services), and Jen Fox (These People Here, Way South, Julep) burst onto the scene with head-turning sets and grinning momentum—only to be sent to their rooms for two long years. Undaunted, the band is nearing completion of their debut single and LP, both due out in 2022. Model Shop is keen to bring old fans and new to stages in Seattle and beyond.
