For the second year in a row, we have the distinct pleasure of hosting one of Louisiana’s true national treasures, Mr. Zachary Richard. After an incredible 50 plus year career including accolades and honors that are too many to count, Zachary doesn’t play many shows these days. He recently published his first novel, Les Rafales du carême, the first French language major work of fiction by a Louisiana author since 1894. He has been busy touring the world in support of that!
But he must have enjoyed himself at Chickie Wah Wah last year because he is coming back for more. If you missed that show, it was rowdy and fun and at times just stunningly beautiful. He captivated the entire room, We are honored and simply nothing but thankful to have the opportunity to have Zachary Richard perform for us on Sunday May 4th at 8pm. I couldn’t imagine a better way to close out your festival weekend.
