With lyrics that read like a personal diary, an unmistakable flow, and a fearless ability to move across genres, Yuki Chiba has emerged as one of Japan’s most exciting global hip-hop artists. His first release under the name Yuki Chiba, "Team Tomodachi" (2024), became a viral sensation, launching a breakout year that quickly propelled him onto the international stage.
In June 2024, his collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, "Mamushi," topped the Rhythmic Airplay Chart, and his performance at the MTV Video Music Awards made him the first Japanese artist to perform on the VMAs stage. Over the next six months, Chiba maintained remarkable momentum by releasing three albums—STAR, Okumanchoja (Millionaire), and Eien (Eternity)—alongside the collaborative project Separated at Birth with creative visionary Stillz.
In 2025, Yuki sold out Tokyo's iconic Nippon Budokan for a hometown triumph and appeared as the cover artist for Rolling Stone Japan. He also wrote the official anthem for Riot Games' VALORANT franchise while continuing collaborations with artists including Murda Beatz, Feid, and Big Sean.
His momentum continued into 2026 with his first headline tours of Australia and Europe and the release of the Japanese-Korean anthem "Annyeonghaseyo," which inspired more than 300,000 TikTok creations. Beyond music, Chiba is also a columnist for television and print media and oversees his successful streetwear brand, Dogs, further cementing his influence across music, fashion, and culture.
