After 35 years of writing about and presenting American classic music on radio, the convergence leads me to live presentation. The project explores the dimension of performance, and a quest for affinity with an audience.  The goal to experience the intersectionality of  emotional intent and jazz sensibilities, through the lens of popular composition -  is real. We understand that Intensity of emotion,  and vulnerability,  are the building blocks of the improvisational moment.  This is the philosophy that grounds my vision for this music project, Y KNOT.     Melody, rhythm and harmony is what create the moment of innovation and magic. The stage exist to on-board this exhibition and purveyance the music bargains.     To transport an audience through sonic vitality, and the dimension of sound,  is the threshold and rigor of musicianship at the highest level.
