Description
The band Xolie Morra & The Strange Kind has been on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, performed with acts such as Crosby Stills & Nash, Brandi Carlile, and John Mayer at the Light Up The Blues concert, shared the stage at the 2010 Lilith Fair and even did a TEDxTalk titled "Autism and the Language of Music". Bringing a unique blend of Alternative Rock, Folk and Country to the mix, the band has built a name and a presence for many years in the Seattle music scene. Their album "The Great Social Experiment", produced and self released by Singer/Songwriter Xolie Morra, along side long time drummer Brett Ashley Hutchinson, mixes Xolie's edgy iconic vocals and moving melodic compositions, with an intensely intimate, yet powerful bite. "The Great Social Experiment" incorporates a multi faceted approach to the politics of social interactions and incorporates close and new musical friendships in a way that showcases Xolie's unique musical perspective as an artist, songwriter andproducer on the Autism Spectrum.
