Simply put, Wynton Existing is Wynton Existing due to the fact that Wynton exists to make art. Rather then identify as a specific genre, Wynton Existing is an exploration of sounds, vibes and emotions, generally which finds itself swimming around Garage, Psychedelia, Progressive, Punk, Stoner, Indie, and countless other subgenres.

Travollta prefers to show rather than tell. But if you ask passers-by from the 2021 Tomato Arts Fest, The Basement's Get Happier Friday series, or The Winter Formal at The Basement East you'll hear them described as "interesting" or "quite something." The duo has made a name for themselves as "genuinely [the] best openers ever" (Someone on Instagram), having shared the stage with Thumpasaurus, Kitty Coen, Basic Printer, OTNES, Jive Talk, Luthi, and Mom Rock.
The group consists only of Coolio Heart (lead singer) and Radical Dex Rowdyhouse (the one with the cowboy helmet), but has some ephemeral connection to Atticus Swartwood & Andy Heath (Tayls, Chalaxy, Molly Rocket, Deep Talk, etc.). The group insists that dance-punk is 'back' and they will bring as many drum machines and synthesizers and kicks and Topo Chicos as needed to convince you of that. If you don't have a little bit of fun at their set you are legally allowed to stick one (1) finger into one (1) item from their lunch.

The East Nashville Power Pop band Tayls transports listeners into a temporary dwelling of rock ‘n’ roll fantasy. Their dynamic pop-punk anthems and effervescent energy has captured hearts across Nashville, creating a multisensory experience while providing a feeling of belonging. The Nashville Scene describes the group as “stylistically omnivorous, pulling from a variety of disciplines from folk to glam, with a flair for grand gestures that nods to The Flaming Lips.” Beyond that, Tayls is a band about friendship. The group takes a kitchen-sink approach to live performance, with an ensemble cast of Nashville talent, and stage theatrics akin to Bowie or Queen. The band’s self-proclaimed genre, Friendship-Punk, combines a DIY ethos with a do-it-together spirit.
