Collective Effort NYC Presents
With Honor, Drowningman, Stand Still, Become One
-
Formed in 2002, CT’s With Honor quickly rose to prominence in their local hardcore scene catching the attention of Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) who would release their debut EP, and first full length “Heart Means Everything” on his label Stillborn Records. The band toured consistently with such bands as Bane, Sick Of It All, Comeback Kid, H2O, Stretch Armstrong etc., which lead to a deal with Chicago based Victory Records, who released their 2nd full length “This Is Our Revenge” in 2005. The band completed a few more urs before disbanding in 2006, though reuniting a few times throughout the years to play benefit shows etc., However 2021 marked a re-emergence of the band with an appearance at Furnace Fest in Alabama and an announcement they had signed with Pure Noise records, who recently re-released the first full length album. The band also announced they’d begun work on a new record, due out on PNR late 2022.

Blending the extremes of metal and hardcore with strains of emo and mathrock, Drowningman returns with the mercurial intensity that has continued to simmer since the early '00s. With releases on Hydrahead, Revelation, and Equal Vision Records -- and an ecstatically unhinged live show -- Drowningman re-emerges after 15 years. Prepare for forthcoming releases and relentless recitals -- challenging times call for a challenging band.

After forming in the mid-90s and playing through 2002, Become One went dormant for over a decade. But since returning in 2015, the band has released two records, most recently 2020's "Subsidence" EP on New Morality Zine. They play the style of music they love: Long Island hardcore.

Stand Still is a 5 piece melodic hardcore band hailing from Long Island, New York. Immediately through their music you are taken back to a time when local legends like Silent Majority, Taking Back Sunday, The Movielife, and Crime in Stereo were dominating the hardcore and later mainstream music scene. Like Long Islands melodic hardcore bands of past, Stand Still is able to fit in on any bill and is able to win the hearts of any audience due to their energetic live performances and a sound that exceeds a genre or a generation. Since their first release in summer of 2021, they have played or toured with the likes of Crime in Stereo, Stick to Your Guns, Stray From the Path, See You Space Cowboy, Pain of Truth, and many more. Be on the look out for new music from Stand Still in 2022
