Glitter Fox
Glitter Fox
Alternative Rock
Glitterfox makes music for people who like their rock a little messy.
The band pulls from glam, punk, indie rock, and whatever else feels good in the moment, turning big feelings into big songs without taking themselves too seriously.
There’s heartbreak, there’s humor, there’s sweat, and there’s usually something covered in glitter.
Glitterfox is at its best onstage: loud, loose, and a little unpredictable. It’s rock music with room for the weird parts—the ugly feelings, the good nights, the bad decisions, and everything in between. Pretty enough to pull you in, mean enough to leave a mark.
The group’s soaring intimacy quickly won over Pacific Northwest fans and heroes in addition to Funk, with Kill Rock Stars label head Slim Moon who jumped at the opportunity to sign them. They have performed at Newport Folk Festival, Pickathon Festival, and toured nationally.
With a recently departed founding member, the band entered the studio with a general curiosity and excitement for a new frontier – the group is currently working on new music slated for release in 2027 on Jealous Butcher Records with national touring plans. Singer Solange Igoa affords, “While we will miss Andrea who wrote a considerable amount of material, the three of us are excited and I welcome collaboration with Eric Stalker (bass)and Blaine Heionen (drums) who are amazing songwriters.”.
Igoa recently sang on two songs with The Decemberists, which will appear in the film “Wildwood”, coming out in October 2027.
