Based in Nashville, Winona Fighter—frontwoman and multi-instrumentalist Coco Kinnon, lead guitarist Dan Fuson and bassist/producer Austin Luther—formed after Coco moved there from Boston, and made a strong impression with their 2022 debut EP, Father Figure. Three of its songs—"Subaru”, “You Look Like A Drunk Phoebe Bridgers” and “Wlbrn St Tvrn”—were re-recorded for MY APOLOGIES TO THE CHEF, the band’s debut album, but their power and potency is in no way diminished. In fact, the rage and frustration that courses through them, and which also infuses the band’s energetic and compelling live shows, feels even more visceral, pointed and necessary than before, something that carries over into the other songs too.

At age 15, identical twins Hallie and Dylinn Mayes created the band Good Boy Daisy out of Scottsdale, AZ. The group found their new alt-pop sound in 2020 that is uniquely it’s own, yet excitingly familiar. Each release has hints of 90s grunge, alternative, and pop influences. The twins bring a fresh spin on the definition “girlband” with energetic songs that just might make you want to break up with your boyfriend. Their sonically driven live show with powerhouse vocals make this band a “must see”. Good Boy Daisy recently played Summerfest, and have shared the stage with Young the Giant, and COIN. The duo are always working in the studio on next releases, designing new merch, and directing their music videos.
