Windy City Rev & The Hootenanny Band is an evolution of a well-established group, boasting 12 online releases and numerous performances overseas and throughout the Chicagoland area, including notable venues such as Joe's Live, Bub City, and Joe's on Weed St. Fronted by singer-songwriter Rich "Rev", the band showcases his exceptional talents on vocals, guitar, and harmonica. Rich's stage name "Rev" was coined early in his career, reflecting his high-energy music style and captivating live performances. As the frontman of the popular Chicago band "Windy City Rev Ups", Rich along with the Hootenanny Band ensemble demonstrate their commanding stage presence at every live performance. The Hootenanny Band ensembles rocking country western sound is driven by a full throttle rhythm section, and burning rubber, smoking guitars! Their repertoire features a wheel popping array of cross-country tunes, including popular old-school covers and fresh new country fried originals.
