Description
In 2025, Windy City Rev & The Hootenanny Band released their first self-titled EP, featuring the songs Alley Cat Blues and After All The Things Are Gone. The Hootenanny Band originated from a well-established musical group with a notable history that includes multiple online releases, numerous overseas performances, and countless years of live stage shows throughout Chicagoland at prominent venues such as Joe's Live, Bub City, Joe's on Weed St., Carol's Pub, and House of Blues. The Hootenanny Band's ensemble of talented country rock musicians features full-throttle guitars, a thundering rhythm section, intoxicating saxophone vibes, and soulful harmonica playing. The band performs old school country rockers mixed with revved up, dance-oriented originals. The band is fronted by singer-songwriter Rich 'Rev', who showcases his musical talents on vocals, guitar, and harmonica. Rich earned the nickname due to his energetic music style and captivating live stage shows. His musical journey led him to Chicago, where he has performed alongside numerous top-ranked musicians and fronts the popular Chicago-based blues rock band, Windy City Rev Ups. Be sure to check out their social media and extensive catalog of music streaming worldwide.
