Meet Me At The Altar,
Wilmette is a 5-piece from the Chicago suburbs that combines pop-punk and hardcore with their own fresh and original style that sets them apart in the current scene. They aim to bring back the 2010-esque angstiness and raw energy that made pop-punk what it is today. Wilmette has an energetic, in-your-face style that’s heavy but melodic and not constrained by any narrow genre formula. Drawing on the band members’ wide-ranging musical tastes that run from pop to death metal, they incorporate everything they love into a unique and personal style that relies on pop hooks, honest lyrics, strong musicianship, and killer clean and dirty vocals.
Meet Me @ the Altar are a three piece pop punk band consisting of drummer Ada Juarez (New Jersey, USA); guitarist/bassists Téa Campbell (Florida, USA); and lead vocalist Edith Johnson (Georgia, USA)
Their strong online presence has been attracting fans to their comical personalities, but more importantly to their music. They released an EP titled “Bigger Than Me” in 2019 consisting of intricate guitar parts, fast paced drumming, and emotional lyrics.
With a perfectly energetic blend of soaring melodies and driving rhythms, SINK IN is the definition of the DIY underground band turned pop/rock powerhouse.
SINK IN kicked off in 2015 by recording their debut EP entitled “Wide Eyes”. Upon a great reception to the EP, the band embarked on a full US touring schedule, sharing the stage with artists such as: Relient K, Skillet, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Emery, Icon For Hire, and many more!
In 2016, the band released a single called “Castaway”, which amassed over half a million views on YouTube.
SINK IN entered the studio once again in the winter if 2016 to record their first full length album entitled “Ordinary People, Extraordinary Things”.
Perhaps the most notable aspect of SINK IN is their in-your-face, high energy live show. With their punk influenced upbeat attitude and angelic four part pop vocals, SINK IN demands every minute of attention and a vast array of emotions from their steadily growing audience.
Your Favorite Sad-Boy Punk Rockers.Tatakae was born in and around the Pioneer venue in Fountain Square prior to its demise. Their sound blends elements of classic punk and rock and roll as well as contemporary melodies found in today’s alternative music. The lyrical content (most of it yelled) deals with themes of a melancholy nature, ranging from addiction to relationships gone awry. It stands in contrast with the upbeat backing tracks which makes for a sound that is at times defeatist and jaded yet cautiously optimistic about the future…
