Born in Cape Town, he grabbed onto music during his formative years and never let go. Mom and Dad encouraged Will and his brothers to be creative, so the kids often performed “home concerts” featuring Stevie Wonder covers. In 2022, the world was introduced to him. His breakout single “miss me (when you’re gone)” exploded online, translating to over 27 million Spotify streams. He maintained this momentum with the kill all my feelings EP [2022] and magic EP [2023]. The latter yielded “Last Call,” which garnered over 34 million Spotify streams. He performed to rapt crowds not only in South Africa, but throughout North America and Europe.
After amassing over 100 million global streams, packing venues on tour, and earning critical acclaim from the likes of Notion, The Line Of Best Fit, Melodic Magazine, and more, his full- length debut LP, “Don’t Cry Because It’s Over” [Island Records], was released in 2025, and is the sonic equivalent of your favorite romcom. He's continued the momentum into 2026 with a string of new singles, including "I Loved, I Lost" and "Head First," alongside "Holding The Line," featured on the Prime Original Series Off Campus.
