Wilder CD Release with Honey & Houston and Chelsea Ford & The Trouble
-
Storytellers from Greater Cincinnati with distinct Kentucky swagger.
Inspired by American songwriters, Wilder is rooted in tales of the common man, flanked by great melodies and three part harmonies. Formed by Kelly Thomas and Randy Steffen in 2014, around a simple idea... write songs that stand on their own. In the time since, the group has grown to add some texture. Wilder gained some outstanding musicians in guitarist Zach Rowe, bassist John Schmidt, and drummers Kevin Hogle & Christopher Alley. -
Honey & Houston is singer/songwriters Lauren Houston, Heather Turner (Tupelo Honey) with lead instrumentalist Mark Cretcher and Daniel Peterson on drums. Their original folk/americana music blends country and blues influences with sweet "sister" harmonies and a little taste of gypsy on the side.

Chelsea Ford and The Trouble is a string band from Cincinnati, OH with influences ranging from traditional folk to jazz/blues including The Carter Family, Dakota Staton, and Loretta Lynn. They formed in July 2017 and are husband and wife duo Jon and Chelsea Ford on banjo/guitar/vocals and Matt Crone on upright bass.
