    WHITE COAT ROCK: Take 2 (and call me in the morning) brings Upstate Medical University’s own rock band back to the stage for another high-energy night of live music. Spinal Chords, is made up of Upstate faculty, staff, and students, who go from rounds to riffs and lectures to encores.

    Featuring powerhouse vocals from medical student Olivia Laniak, keyboards by Jian Li, driving guitars from Humza Khan and Shaun Sergott, bass grooves from neurologist Dr. Mike Vertino, and thunderous drums by neurosurgeon Dr. Larry Chin, Spinal Chords shows that medicine and music can go hand in hand.
