  • Halfway To Avalon

    Halfway To Avalon

    Alternative Rock

"Halfway to Avalon is an alternative-pop rock band that has pretty but sometimes gritty vocals, with strong melodic choruses that are backed by heavy and resounding drums with colorful leads and guitar driven groves. The band was formed in September of 2009 after recording their 4 Song Self titled EP with original members Ryan Gavin (Guitar/Vocals), Jacob King (Guitar) and Geoff Bahre (Drums). After Recording, the Band and Geoff Parted ways, Matthew Wiles then joined on Drums, and Josh Howe on Bass. As passionate songwriters and performers the band works hard to deliver emotional and powerful performances with the same fervor and quality found on their records."

  • Silhouette Rising

    Silhouette Rising

    Alternative Rock

With varied influences ranging between classic artists to contemporary talents, the musicians of Silhouette Rising blend inspiration with art to create a sound encompassing the true necessities of music. As they promote their new and highly anticipated album Happiness I, Silhouette Rising has teamed up with their music label YTT Productions to transform the contemporary pop, funk, and rock music of today into highly imaginative art by presenting the groundbreaking video clip for “Rehab.”
These New England natives create natural, yet contemporary music that promotes all of the positive ideas that Silhouette Rising encompasses as coming of age musicians. Their music can be classified as fun loving and free spirited, and that is just what the modern music scene has been in search of. With eclectic influences ranging from noteworthy artists such as Incubus, The Fray, Circa Survive, Death Cab for Cutie, and Bon Iver, Silhouette Rising has made it impossible for music listeners to deny their creative approach to music.
Earlier last year, these New England natives introduced two quirky and comical videos for “Don’t You Hear Me Calling?” and “Sex in the City” off of the album Ode to Vandalism. The songs encompassed a wide range of rock elements, all the while expressing the vast influences of funk and rock inspired notes. The playful demeanor and unspeakable guitar riffs of “Sex in the City” gave music listeners a sneak peek at the potential for Silhouette Rising’s future success. Directors James and Robert DiNanno express the layered themes and ideals that make up the lyrics of Silhouette Rising’s latest single “Rehab,” and the video raises these concepts to the surface of the music scene.
The clip includes the many faces of addiction; within the scenes, viewers witness the intensity of alcohol and drugs. What “Rehab” does is show the irony that exists within an addict experiencing denial. As the chorus erupts with catchy lyrics such as “I don’t need rehab,” we encounter a wave of fun-loving and inspirational music. The song is infused with many rock and pop elements that have been blended by catapulting funk essentials. Silhouette Rising performs “Rehab” throughout the video giving off an undeniable energy. This energy fuses together with the radiance of the band’s performance skills to create an exceptionally noteworthy band of 2013, Silhouette Rising.
“Rehab” serves as an introduction for all that Silhouette Rising has to offer for the music scene. With a new albumHappiness I on the rise, it is clear that this indie-flavored rock band will be sticking around, so be sure to check out the new album featuring “Rehab.”
