Warchild ft. Scott Pryor is a hard-hitting rock project built on truth, resilience, and raw human experience. Fronted by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Scott Pryor and backed by a powerhouse band of seasoned musicians, the music channels a lifetime of growth, intensity, experience, loss, and purpose into a sound that is both explosive and deeply personal. The name “Warchild” represents the battles we all carry, both seen and unseen. For Pryor, it is rooted in profound personal loss, honoring his son Elijah, whose struggle with mental health led to his passing in 2023. That experience, combined with his military background, fuels a mission that goes far beyond music. Warchild delivers anthems for anyone fighting their own internal war, blending powerful rock energy with a message of perseverance, connection, and strength. This is music meant to move people, shake rooms, and remind listeners they are not alone. Joining the night is NOLA Vet Jams! Vet Jams is a collaborative music project of musicians and veterans. OUR MISSION: Vet Jams unites military veterans through the power of live music—creating safe, supportive spaces where shared rhythm builds camaraderie, combats isolation, and shines a spotlight on mental health. We champion the message: it’s okay to seek help, and through the VetCenter (504-507-4977) all veterans can get therapy for free regardless of discharge type. A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to Bastion, a local non-profit that serves disabled veterans and their families. Bastion began as America’s first intentional community for disabled veterans and families, anchored in the historic Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans. Today, Bastion serves veterans from all across New Orleans and beyond. Bastion’s dedicated nonprofit staff expanded programming to San Antonio in 2025, and opened a Veteran Wellness Center in 2026 to serve more of the 15,000+ veterans who call New Orleans home.  Bastion’s Veteran Wellness Center operates as a hub of resources and social connection, anchoring our constantly growing community and creating opportunities for partner organizations to provide critical services at no cost to our partners or the veterans we serve together. Join us for a night of music and community!
