Trumpeter Wallace Roney's playing and music continues to evolve and on December 29, he brings his fiery quintet to Scullers Jazz Club.  Roney's music is his own, but built upon the bands of legendary drummers Art Blakey and Tony Williams, among others. One of the many highlights of Roney's career was being chosen by his mentor and friend, Miles Davis, to participate in the 1991 Montreux Jazz Festival, performing the brilliant music of Gil Evans as Miles did 30 + years prior to 1991.    “Wallace Roney’s artistry radiates…” – Jazz Review.com   Scullers Jazz Club’s Boathouse 400 restaurant rekindles the magic of the great supper clubs with our Dinner and Show Package that enlivens all of the senses. For a nominal fee, guests can upgrade their beverage selection.  The menu changes seasonally to ensure only the freshest ingredients are used!
