A girl abandoned by her lover is ostracized by the people of the small religious town she lives in for refusing to believe he fled the scene of a deadly crime. Following the last signal from his cell phone, she arrives at the location he was last pinned only to find yards of bloodstained caution tape wrapped around the trees and a chalk outline on the road. The unspoken horror before her fractures her sanity with unexpected grief. Desperate for answers, she returns to the scene in search of clues, only to be met by the silent gaze of a ghost standing in the corner of where it all took place. Will she come to terms with the reality of her abandonment, rooted in homicide, or will she let her mind be consumed by the illusion of a lover who will never leave?
