MIA BIO:

Miami born and raised, Mia sings with a whispery affectation amidst lo-fi synths on the ghoulishly catchy “Creatures of the Night.” A relatively new artist, Mia’s profile is already on the rise thanks to her singing swagger and her music’s deep groove. Sometimes all it takes is a single, undeniable 7” to break out in the scene—and “Creatures of the Night” b/w “Love Me Right” is irrefutable proof.

INTROVERTED FUNK BIO:
Introverted Funk is a Los Angeles–based duo blending the timeless grooves of funk, disco, and R&B with a modern, soulful edge.  Their music draws from classic funk, boogie, and disco traditions while remaining deeply personal, crafted to feel as good in quiet moments as it does on the dance floor.Introverted Funk’s shows emphasize feel, groove, and musicianship, an approach that carries directly into their recordings. The duo has shared stages with genre-defining acts such as The Altons, Thee Sinseers, and King Pari, and has opened for artists including 79.5 and Vanessa Zamora. In June 2025, Introverted Funk released their debut 7” vinyl, Fan Out / Tell U, with Star Creature, marking a key milestone in their growing catalog. Whether performing live or digging through records at home, Introverted Funk creates a space where individuality is celebrated, stories unfold through groove, and every beat invites you to move.

KING PARI BIO:

King Pari is like potato chips, popsicles, velcro, slinkies — joyful inventions born from happy accidents. Joe Paris Christensen and Cameron Kinghorn had been playing in the same Twin Cities scenes for years, but when Joe sent Cameron a new tune he’d whipped up on a tape machine, something clicked. “This sounds like how my brain feels,” Cameron said. That session grew into the first King Pari song, which set the band on a journey that included releases with Acrophase Records, People’s Potential Unlimited, and has recently culminated in the release of their debut album There It Goes on Stones Throw Records. The band’s Minneapolis funk pedigree anchors their music. Both Joe and Cameron played alongside some of Prince’s closest associates, and Joe’s previous band was among the last that Prince personally invited to play at Paisley Park. They’ve also been tapped into the national funk and jazz scenes from the beginning – King Pari’s first gig was opening for Kamasi Washington, before they’d even landed
on a name. The band pairs a freewheeling, fun vibe with careful reflection. If listening to their music sounds like that moment after a rough patch when things are finally starting to go your way, it’s because that’s the spirit in which it was made. King Pari is always trying new things musically, but whenever they finish a song, there’s only one question: "Is this us?"
