Unexpected Originals (UO) Music Label is woman owned independent label based out of Washington DC since 2019. It provides annual community engagement through music presentations coupled with visual arts. The home of originally good music written, produced, and performed by independent artists. 
 
The A-team is a collaboration of individuals from each of the top Gogo bands as represented by Northeast Groover’s drummer “Stomp”, CCB and Noochie’s Live from the Front Porch guitarist Mel “Guitarboi” and vocalist “J’Ta”, Walker Redds Project musical director “Pete Chatmon” and bassist “Ronnie Lindsey”, and 2026 Gogo award timbale winner “Kirky Rice”.
