United Nations of Comedy with Chris Kidder, Miguel Rojas & Dan Green

Chris Kidder has an interesting background. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on a military base during a road trip. The first 11 years of his life were spent in the Texas humidity and heat, more specifically, Houston, TX. There he learned nothing, except that it was too hot for him. Plus kids who are 11 or younger don’t know anything.
At 11, Chris and his family moved to Buffalo, NY because who doesn’t want to live in 10 feet of snow 7 months out of the year. Straight out of high school Chris joined the Army National Guard under a 6 year contract. After all his training he loved out to Los Angeles, CA by way of a Greyhound bus. He knew no one West of Texas and was just going to go for it!
He landed in Hollywood in 2000 and attempted to get in front of the camera by going to countless auditions. After a few small roles and little traction, Chris decided to take roles behind the camera. Soon he was working on all of the big Hollywood movie studio lots and got into the I.A.T.S.E Local 80 union as a production grip.
Chris Met his best friend Yvonne in 2001, and they were married in Spring 2006. They had their first child, Riley, just a year later.
The recession hit the film industry hard. Well it shut down the industry completely, which is when Chris decided to go for his degree in business. He graduated from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business in 2013, proving to himself that with a little patience and a lot of hard work, anything is possible.
After getting his degree, Chris spent several years in commercial and residential real estate, where he had the fun job of taking care of his client’s real estate needs. There was a lack of arts, and Chris once again felt drawn to being in the spot light. He began working in the film industry once again but this time with specific goals in mind.
In 2018 there was an '“incident” at a Starbucks drive-thru that Chris has repeatedly given credit as to why he jumped up on stage. He had an altercation that cost him $6,000. His wife said “You need therapy or go do standup because those guys are always working their shit out on stage.” Chris chose the latter and fell in love with the stage.
You can see Chris doing local shows with several promoters at clubs like the Pasadena Ice House, the Hollywood Improv, HaHa cafe, the Federal, and more.

Miguel Rojas is an L.A. based comedian and actor best known for Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion (2014), Locating Silver Lake (2018) and The Onion Boy (2017). Growing up in the city of angels he worked a number of dead end jobs until he did his first standup routine on a dare in 2011. He was instantly hooked. In 2017 he quickly became a SAG artist landing roles on productions made by Comedy Central and FX making just enough to support his four cats, fourth wife (in addition to his third!) and adult daughter. He hilariously explains this balancing act at the Hollywood Improv, The Ice House in Pasadena and in packed comedy clubs all over southern California.
