Description
Circuit Church Presents: Uncontrolled Voltage 6: Drum Machine Circle, Pothole Skinny, Penance, Vonn Slider  Live at Will’s Pub AUGUST, 19, 2026 Uncontrolled Voltage 6 returns to Will's Pub for another night dedicated to adventurous electronic music and creative experimentation. Curated by Circuit Church, the series brings together artists exploring modular synthesis, live electronics, improvisation, and other unconventional approaches to sound. Every performance is created live, embracing spontaneity, discovery, and the unexpected. The line-up  Vonn Slider - Influenced by percussion and soundscapes, Von Slider creates evolving live modular sets  blending ambient moods with driving techno. Time and space melt together through the rhythmic pulse of tight kick drums and sinking bass lines decorated with echoing voices    Penance - is the project name of Brett Geib. He grew up listening to 70’s progressive rock, hardcore, and experimental electronic music. After 15 years of playing bass in punk and grindcore bands he started learning modular synthesis as a way to expand new ideas into a solo project. Circuit Church is only his 2nd performance outside of his hometown of Gainesville, FL.    Pothole Skinny - is the experimental music project of Stephen Connolly, with roots in the New York/New Jersey underground music scene of the mid-1990s. Performances may include guitar, lap steel, tape loops, field recordings, found sound, live electronics, and other sound sources, with improvisation at the center of each set. Chance, repetition, texture, and interaction between acoustic and electronic sound shape the direction of the performance.   Drum Machine Circle - explores what happens when a group of modular synthesists performs as a single instrument. Guided by one shared rhythmic sequence, each performer transforms the pulse through their own drum voices, synthesis techniques, and live improvisation. Layers emerge, dissolve, and reconnect as the music unfolds in real time, creating an experience that is both mesmerizing and unpredictable while showcasing the creative possibilities of collaborative electronic performance.    Visuals By: Sasha King Pixel Dust Zap Danger     Doors 7:30PM 18+ $10 / $15 FFO: Experimental Electronic, Modular Synth, Live Electronics, Improvised Music, Live VJ, Video Art
