Description
The music of Tyler Booth captures the best of both worlds, combining the deep traditions and themes of country music with an irresistible modern sound to create songs that will stand the test of time. Known for the song “Palomino Princess,” which garnered more than 22 million streams on Spotify alone, and the video for “Hank Crankin’ People,” which received more than 1 million views, Booth releases his debut song, “Clean
Dirt” with Average Joes Entertainment/Big Gassed Records. This joint venture unites him with Jamey Johnson, the owner of Big Gassed Records and one of his musical heroes with whom he has toured, performed and recorded.
Deeply steeped in the roots and culture of Eastern Kentucky, Booth is a proud flag bearer for the rich musical heritage that’s soaked into the soil, dirt roads and coal mines of the Appalachian Mountains. Raised in Campton, Ky. (pop. 316) and now living in Pikeville (pop. 7.754), he comes from a family of coal miners and military men and was shaped by the work ethic, personalities and music in the area. He shares the musical DNA with other artists from Eastern Kentucky, such as Loretta Lynn, The Judds, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Keith Whitley, Dwight Yoakam, Ricky Skaggs, Patty Loveless and many more.
After playing festivals in high school and attending Morehead State, he recorded an EP, Make It to Mexico, which included the popular song and video “Hank Crankin’ People.” In 2020, he signed a joint venture with Sony Music Nashville and Villa40 and released songs including “Long Comes a Girl,” “Where the Livin’ Is,” and the project’s most popular song, “Palomino Princess.” He has toured with Brantley Gilbert, Darius Rucker and Dwight Yoakam and recorded with Brooks & Dunn on “Lost and Found” on their 2019 Reboot album.
Booth spent about two years in Nashville but decided to return to his Kentucky roots about five years ago to immerse himself into songwriting and thrive in the environment that has shaped who he has become as a man and musician. The
result is the best music of his career.

Country
Often in country music, artists leave their small hometowns with big stories to tell -- in singer-songwriter Tyler Booth's case, those stories are his very own. From supporting some of the genre's top stars including Willie Nelson, Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi, Brooks and Dunn, Joe Diffie, and Dwight Yoakam either in the studio or on the show bill to building a grass-roots fan base across the nation with nothing but a rigged-up home studio and workhouse attitude, the 26-year-old singer has already lived a life worth writing songs about. Now, as the first artist signed to Sony Music Nashville and Villa 40's joint venture and flanked by a band of childhood friends, Booth is touring behind the arrival of his Grab The Reins EP, which includes “Already Got One” and the “enchanting” (American Songwriter) “Palomino Princess,” which Billboard commented “perfectly suit his deep, ranging voice.”
