Based in Syracuse, the "Americana Groove Ensemble" known as "Two Hour Delay" (aka 2HD) has been performing in Central New York since 2008.   Roots Rock originals reminiscent of The Band, The Stones, and the Grateful Dead; Americana originals that leave you wondering if you've just heard a new Jason Isbell or Chris Stapleton tune, or a rare Willie Nelson song; And more... Elements of John Scofield, Mark Knopfler, Old 97’s, Drive-by-Truckers, Wilco...   2HD has opened for Rusted Root, Donna the Buffalo, Assembly of Dust, Floodwood, Uncle Kracker, and New Riders of the Purple Sage. The band is led by Tim Burns on guitar & vocals, and includes Bob Gaus on electric guitar, Joe Henson on bass & vocals, and Brian Welch on drums & vocals. 2HD performs a mix of strong original music (written by Tim & Joe, with the full band contributing to composition and structure) as well as some tasty covers.
