Reggie Thomas is Coordinator of Jazz Studies at Northern Illinois University and remains active with institutions including Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz. Reggie also performs with wife/vocalist Mardra Thomas, has spent time with the Count Basie Orchestra and has performed internationally in Asia, Australia, Canada and Europe. Dennis Carroll is a nationally sought-after bassist rooted in Chicago.  He has worked with artists including Eddie Harris, Ron Blake, Bobby Broom, Bobby Hutcherson, John Scofield, Von Freeman, Clark Terry, Roy Hargrove and Nicholas Payton. He is jazz bass professor at DePaul University and has taught at Northwestern University and Ravinia. George Fludas began with Chicago greats Von Freeman, Jodie Christian and Lin Halliday. He has performed in U.S. jazz venues including Chicago’s Jazz Showcase, Yoshi’s in Oakland and NY’s Blue Note, Village Vanguard, Smoke and Jazz Standard. He’s performed at international jazz festivals in Canada, Switzerland, Scotland and Spain and has toured with Ray Brown, Hank Jones, Diana Krall, Monty Alexander, Cedar Walton and Joey Defrancesco.
