Adam Mac
Country
Adam Mac shakes the country music scene, embracing its forward progression to introduce an artist never before seen in the genre. Confidence exudes from Mac, as he shares his unapologetic anthems detailing his journey to becoming the person he is today, after many heartaches. Born Adam McPhaill in small-town Russellville, KY, he was raised on ‘90s country and gospel music, often being bribed by his mother to sing during Sunday service. His sound has also been heavily influenced by pop legends such as Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse, who changed the trajectory of his style and desire to perform.
He moved to Nashville in 2012 and after nearly a decade of paying his dues in Music City, Mac has had a series of recent successes in his career.
The music video for fan-favorite track “Disco Cowboy” premiered exclusively with CMT and went on to take the No. 1 spot on CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown for 4 weeks. Additional releases include “New Vibration” and “Take Myself Home”, which both earned high praise from People Country. With a refreshing sound and evocative lyrics, Adam continues to resonate with fans on a personal level, which was evident in his viral TikTok that featured a snippet of his unreleased song, “Boy Like Me”. The emotional tribute to his mom received over 200k views in less than 24 hours. His most recent album snippet of “That Ain’t Country” has received more than 320k views on TikTok, with over 5k comments praising and relating to his power message. Mac’s sophomore album, “Disco Cowboy”, will be out May 19th.

Hi there! I’m Nell Maynard, and I am a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee. I grew up riding horses in Colorado, earned my Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry, and briefly attended medical school before pursuing my true calling by moving to Nashville in 2017. In 2021, pop country up-and-comer Lauren Weintraub released our song Like A Boy after 6 million+ views on TikTok. Also in 2021 I wrote Blueneck by Chris Housman, which premiered at #1 on iTunes Country and #4 on iTunes All Genre, and received coverage from Good Morning America, Rolling Stone, NYTimes, and Billboard. In 2023 I wrote Royale Lynn’s single Runs In The Water, which debuted at #4 on iTunes Country, #14 on All Genre, and #1 on Canadian iTunes Country. In 2024, Chris Housman released our song Guilty As Sin and CMT premiered the music video in Times Square, prompting weeks of YouTube virality. I have been a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition twice, in 2020 I wrote the third and fourth place songs in the NSAI Song Contest, and in 2022 I wrote the third place song and the winning song in the same competition. I live in East Nashville with my dog and cat.

If Harlan Howard was right when he said “country music is three chords and the truth”,
then Chris Housman is one of the best qualified artists working in Country today.
Beyond the classic twang, rich six string backed sound, and disarming Kansas baritone,
his offerings in the genre gently, yet unapologetically, speak his truth at every turn. As
an openly gay country artist, he thoughtfully marries two worlds that, to many, are at
odds with one another. Whether it’s the fable-like “Drag Queen” which celebrates a
small town teacher of the year who goes from Michael to Michelle after hours, or the
viral sensation “Blueneck”, a welcoming homespun manifesto that proudly declares
“y’all means all”, Housman’s music offers a musical bridge in a divided time. Called
“irresistible” by Rolling Stone, with Good Morning America praising him for “making
waves”, and Billboard staunchly affirming him as a saving grace for “outcasts in the
genre,” Housman’s message, embodied in his upcoming debut album “Blueneck”, is a
simple one: Country is for everyone. Given his 4.5 million streams and 230,000 online
followers, it's clearly a message that the world wants to hear.
