In 2007, Butch Carr experienced and survived quadruple heart by-pass surgery but unfortunately developed complications that damaged his lungs, it was 6 months later before he was able to work again as sound engineer/songwriter, and suggested by his peers that we contact The NERF and Music Cares organizations. With their help, Butch and his wife, Denise, made it through that terrible time in their lives. He recovered and was able to produce and record 2 albums and mixed the last 4 Willie Nelson Albums completing the last (Band of Brothers) just 2 weeks prior to his death in April of last year.
