The new album is both an end and a beginning for Colorado’s WAYFARER - at once an actualization of the band’s soul, and a bold new step beyond the confines of genre.

Working for the first time with visionary producer Ben Chisholm (Chelsea Wolfe), alongside a recording and mixing team of James Barone (Beach House) and Iver Sandoy (Enslaved) WAYFARER breathes life into a new realm of Western music. Taking the sound and foundations the band has established as purely their own over the last decade, RIDERS OF THE SETTING SUN weaves in threads of post-punk, American folk, and rock and roll to produce a new world of music that is dark, daring, and uniquely WAYFARER.
