Founder of Shameless Productions in 2003, Recess has had a long illustrious tenure in the underground music scene of Seattle. His dance floor oriented DJ sets often reflect Shameless' aesthetic by focusing on forward thinking music while cherishing the gems of the past. He grew up in Seattle bouncing between the early 90s rave, grudge and jazz scenes; equally cherishing the talent and community within them all. 

 

Tek started playing in Okinawa Japan back in 2000 and grew up on Acid House from the Detroit scene. He was a resident at Beta Night Club (Denver) from 2015 to 2017. In 2016 he joined the Shameless crew in Seattle as one of their established resident DJs and graphic designers.

 

Shameless Productions is both an event production company with a focus on emerging electronic music and a collective of performers, producers, artists, party makers, dancers, organizers, and other skilled creatives. In 2003 Shameless started off as a weekly underground indie dance night in the basement of the Alibi Room and has since become one of the cities most respected underground dance music collectives by throwing numerous legendary club nights, afterparties, Decibel Festival events, rooftop and day time parties. From the beginning, each Shameless party was special regardless of the wide ranges of genres and bookings represented. With an eye towards the cutting edge, but deep respect for electronic music’s rich history, Shameless has kept its finger on the pulse of Seattle’s underground for the past 20 years and yet keeps looking forward as they continue to produce annual events such as the seasonal rooftop sunset party Deck'd Out, The Breakfast Club (New Years Day) and Memorial Day Hijinks with the Desert Hearts crew among other one off events.
