The project Torae teased during the ‘Shoutro’ from his 2016 album “Entitled” has finally arrived. Torae the veteran Brooklyn MC and frequent collaborator Maryland producer, Praise have teamed up for a heavenly 7 song EP “All Praises Due”. It’s been just over 2 years since we last got a project from Torae. In that time he’s filmed 6 commercials, a movie and television series with VH1, joined Diddy’s Revolt television channel as a correspondent, hosted the revamped ‘Freestyle Friday’ with BET and is still on radio 6 days a week with his nationally syndicated show ‘The Tor Guide’. Praise know for his hard hitting drums and infectious bass lines has been racking up production credits with the likes of Pharoahe Monch, BJ the Chicago Kid, Joyner Lucas and has worked with EA Sports on their NBA Live video game offerings. The MC and Producer combo of Torae and Praise first started their working relationship in 2013 with ‘What’s Love’ from Torae’s “Admission of Guilt” mixtape. 3 years later Praise was the most featured producer on “Entitled” appearing on 3 of the albums standout tracks. It was a no brainer that the 2 combine forces for an entire project. With Torae in top lyrical form and Praise as sharp as he’s ever been on the boards “All Praises Due” will surely give the fans all they expected and more from the team they basically demanded collaborate on a project.
