H.L. Boney is a rising force in the Triangle Comedy scene. With his laid back demeanor and thoughtful observations, he moves crowds of all walks of life. He burst onto the Triangle comedy scene in 2018 by advancing to the Semifinals in the Goodnights NC’s Funniest comedy contest in his first ever standup performance. Despite this lack of experience H.L. Has become one of the favorite comics of the Triangle comedy scene. Since then he was a finalist in Port City’s Top Comic Comedy Contest and Goodnights Comedy contest. He has developed a reputation of bringing consistent laughs throughout many shows in the Triangle.
