  • Anthony Jeselnik

    Comedy

Anthony Jeselnik is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian. Over the past 25 years, he has performed all across the globe and has written, produced, and starred in three Netflix comedy specials: Thoughts and Prayers, Fire in the Maternity Ward, and his latest, Bones and All. Jeselnik also wrote, produced, and starred in the comedy special Caligula and the stand-up album Shakespeare. In addition to his stand-up, Jeselnik is an Emmy-nominated writer who created, produced, and starred in the cult-classic television series Good Talk with Anthony Jeselnik and The Jeselnik Offensive, alongside his breakout performances on The Roast of Donald Trump and The Roast of Charlie Sheen.

  • Cristela Alonzo

    Stand-up

Cristela Alonzo is a powerhouse comedian, writer, and actress whose sharp wit and infectious charm have made her a standout voice in comedy today. Most recently, she served as a co-producer on Happy’s Place and continues to bring her unique perspective to screens big and small.

Her latest Netflix comedy special, Upper Classy, premiered on September 23, following the success of her previous hits Middle Classy and Lower Classy — a trilogy that hilariously traces her journey from humble beginnings to unapologetic self-awareness.

On the acting front, Cristela has appeared in Netflix’s The Laundromat, starring alongside legends Meryl Streep and Gary Oldman, and before that, she made history as the creator and star of her own ABC sitcom, Cristela.

A regular favorite on The View and a familiar face from Conan, Cristela has also been featured on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution, and Showtime’s Legally Brown. Her work behind the camera has earned her multiple awards, including Best Film at the Boston Comedy Festival for her short films.

Cristela’s range even extends into drama; she appeared in FX’s acclaimed series Sons of Anarchy, but her heart always brings her back to the stage. She’s currently touring the country with her latest stand-up tour, The Midlife Mixtape Tour, proving that comedy, like life, only gets better with experience.

  • Chris Estrada

    Comedy

Chris Estrada is an actor, comedian, and writer born and raised in South Central and Inglewood, where he spent his formative years running from loose pit bulls, getting robbed, and geeking out over comic books and punk rock. Most recently, Chris starred in the breakout comedy series THIS FOOL on Hulu, which he also co-created. Previously, he was voted "one of LA's comedians to watch in 2018," by Time Out LA and was an "Up Next" performer at Comedy Central's Clusterfest in San Francisco. His short film that he wrote, produced, and starred in, 5TH OF JULY, was an official selection at the New York Latino Film Festival and the LA Independent Filmmakers Showcase Film Festival last year.

  • Cathy Ladman

    Comedy

The best way to get inside Cathy Ladman's head is to see her live. As one of the country's top comedians, Ladman's show is a self-probing vehicle which draws laughter from exposing personal neuroses. She has not only appeared on "The Tonight Show" nine times but was also the only female comic to appear on the last two of Johnny Carson’s "Tonight Show Anniversary" shows. She’s made four appearances, thus far, on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," did her own HBO "One Night Stand" comedy special and was awarded the American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand Up Comic.

A native New Yorker, now living in Los Angeles, Cathy is an acclaimed television and film actor. Her film credits include “Charlie Wilson’s War,” “The Aristocrats,” and "White Oleander.” Her TV appearances include “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Modern Family,” and “Mad Men.” She's done several TV pilots, including "Caroline in the City," in which she had a recurring role, and a bunch of others that barely saw the light of day (or night). She also appeared regularly on ABC's "Politically Incorrect" and Comedy Central's "Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist."

Besides writing her standup act and original scripted projects, Cathy was on the writing staffs of “The Caroline Rhea Show” (2002), “Caroline in the City” (different Caroline altogether – 1997), and “Roseanne” (1996). She also wrote an episode of “King of Queens" and other sitcoms. Her theatre credits include her solo show, “Does This Show Make Me Look Fat,” a successful run Off-Broadway in, “The JAP Show: The Princesses of Comedy," the 25th Anniversary production of “Last Summer at Bluefish Cove” in Los Angeles, which was nominated for several GLAAD awards, and she and HBO developed her first solo show, “Scaredypants,” and took it to the Aspen Comedy Festival.

Cathy's comedy focuses on family, growing up, relationships, and real life from a very personal perspective. The Los Angeles Times put it best: "... Ladman has such clever, well-written material and such a breezy, unassuming delivery that it would be easy to overlook just how good she is: Her act seems effortless."

  • Owen Smith

    Comedy

OWEN SMITH has performed Stand-up on Conan and Colbert.  He’s a regular at the Comedy Store Hollywood and Comedy Cellar in New York.  According to Joe Rogan he is amongst the top comics in the world and “should be more famous than he is.”  Owen returns to Just For Laughs for the first time since he debuted as a New Face in 2002.

OWEN created an underground buzz in the comedy world when he shot his hour special “Good Luck Everybody” entirely on ten iPhones then retuned them the next day and got all his money back.

A storyteller at heart his personal brand of comedy is comprised of unique angles on fatherhood, marriage, race and his obsession with NPR programming.

Owen is also a sought after writer. His writing credits include: ABC’s Black•ish, Survivor’s Remorse (Starz), The Arsenio Hall Show, The ESPY’s (on ESPN with Drake and ABC with Joel McHale), The Guy’s Choice Awards, Whitney(NBC), Deon Cole’s Black Box (TBS), Are We There Yet (TBS), and Everybody Hates Chris.

  • Francisco Ramos

    Stand-up

Francisco Ramos has crafted a fan base by leaning into his warm & energetic style of comedy. He's emerging as one of the up and coming comics of his generation. He can be seen in the recurring character of Felix in the outstanding new show on Netflix - GENTEFIED. He was a top-ten finalist on Last Comic Standing and continues touring as a comedian across North America. Having made a noteworthy impact HBO presented an opportunity to shoot a standup special for "Entre Nos". He continues to flourish as an actor and voice-over artist having created memorable character's in SHAMELESS, ANGIE TRIBECA & on Netflix's LADY DYNAMITE. Having voiced the role of King Marmoset in the animated film RIO and with his unique tone and inflection he was brought on by the Cartoon Network to voice a character in VICTOR & VALENTINO.

Francisco was chosen to be part of Lorne Michael's "Mas Mejor" which has become a premium comedy content studio powered by Latino voices. Building on that foundation he directed & co-wrote ZOO ANIMALS which has already been accepted to over a dozen festivals, including Just for Laughs; with more to be announced shortly.

Early in his career, Francisco was selected to perform on the CBS Multicultural Diversity Showcase, where he was one of 12 selected from a pool of 5,000 applicants. He was grateful to have placed first in the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival sponsored by NBC/COZI TV. This led to American Latino TV to produce a documentary about his ascent in a crowded landscape with a focus on his family upbringing and unique individual story, for Latino Out Loud (LOL).

His debut album "Vayalo" has been exclusively playing on Sirius XM and has been a top 5 album on the Billboard Comedy Charts.

  • Justine Marino

    Comedy

Justine Marino is a comedian, actor, writer and producer who realized her love for comedy at The Groundlings School shortly after moving to Los Angeles. She started doing stand-up while working as a tour guide at Universal Studios, and soon began opening for Jon Lovitz, Bo Burnham, and Joel McHale. Justine quickly caught the eye of Jenny McCarthy, and was cast in the special Jenny McCarthy's Dirty, Sexy, Funny, which streamed on Netflix.

In 2014 Justine was selected as a New Face of Comedy at Montreal’s prestigious Just For Laughs Festival and has been seen on NBC, Comedy Central, and MTV. Most recently, Justine hosted and executive produced The Funny Dance Show for E!, which is based on the successful live show she created at The World Famous Comedy Store. The Funny Dance Show will premiere later this year on E!
