Shapel Lacey is a Los Angeles based comedian born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. A diehard punk rocker and former award-winning competitive cheerleader, Shapel found ways to express himself and own his individuality at an early age. Shapel was cheerleading competitively for University of Louisville when someone dared him to take the stage as a comedian and he never looked back, dropping out shortly thereafter to pursue a career in stand up full-time. His unique life experiences such as being adopted by a Caucasian family at age 15, his punk rock mentality, and his stage presence make for a truly original voice in the comedy community. Diligence and the desire to grow led Shapel from the Phoenix open mic circuit onto main stages, where he regularly performed for comedians such as Bill Burr, Hannibal Buress, and Brendan Schaub, and is now headlining clubs across the country. Shapel was selected to be a “New Face” at the 2019 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.

Darren Carter, also known as "The Party Starter," is an American stand-up comedian and actor born in Fresno, California. He has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years with his unique style of comedy, which blends observational humor and physical comedy. Darren Carter's hilarious Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and podcast have helped him amass over 300,000 followers worldwide. Carter's comedy career began in the 1990s when he performed at open-mic nights in Los Angeles. He quickly gained recognition for his energetic stage presence and relatable humor, which led to appearances on popular TV shows such as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Comedy Central Presents," and "Premium Blend." Over the years, Carter has released several comedy albums, including "Shady Side" and "That Ginger's Crazy." He has also performed live all over the country, including at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and The Improv. Fresh off the heels of his Dry Bar Comedy Special, "Calm Down," Darren Carter is set to be  in the upcoming film "Born Again," slated for release this year. In addition to his comedy work, Carter has also acted in a number of films and TV shows, including "Be Cool," "Who Made The Potatoe Salad," and "Love Chronicles." He also hosts his own podcast, "Pocket Party," where he interviews fellow comedians and shares stories from his own life. Carter is known for his high-energy performances, infectious laughter, and ability to connect with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. He continues to tour and perform regularly, bringing laughter and joy to fans across the country. When Carter is home in Los Angeles, he can be found  going to Guitar Center with his teenage son and watching him play every instrument in the building until they get kicked out.

Born to an Iranian mother and Indian father, Omid Singh is one of the top multicultural comics working today. Not that he considers himself a public symbol or boundary-breaker. As he puts it onstage, “I don’t do anything scary when I go to the airport…but I do like to see how far I can walk away from my luggage.”  Singh’s childhood found him living in far-flung locations ranging from San Diego, ten years in Dubai, a year in fiercely conservative Katy, Texas, and back to the West Coast with addresses across Orange County. After hosting his fifth-grade talent show and participating in Comedy Sportz’s High School League, at 16 Omid produced his own stand-up night (for which he admittedly borrowed plenty of Eddie Izzard material). His participation in a 2008 Ice House comedy contest – this time with 100 percent original jokes – hooked him for life.   Despite experiencing stereotyping and even bullying, Singh doesn’t use his unique upbringing as a crutch. As he sees it, celebrating diversity allows him to connect with every type of audience imaginable. Singh spent his developmental years in New York City. There he studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade, performed on 2011’s New York Comedy Festival, and was featured in Ben Affleck’s 2012 thriller Argo. Fun fact: In a scene depicting Iranians rushing the American Embassy, extras aren’t wielding U.S. baseball bats thanks to his outspoken fact-checking. 2013 short film Subway, based on his material about a post-workout commute gone awry, was voted the Audience Award winner at the annual No Budget Film Festival.  Now making his home in Los Angeles, Singh was a featured speaker at 2015’s Golden West College Peace Conference. With fellow comedian Jeffrey Baldinger he co-created storytelling gameshow Story Poker, which in 2017 received international acclaim at Scotland’s long-running Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The pair envision expanding the Story Poker podcast into an ESPN-style online series and eventually a home boardgame.  Singh also co-hosts The Patiocast alongside Meg Charles. Spontaneous and uninhibited, the weekly podcast invites listeners to eavesdrop on top talent at Sunset Strip institution The Comedy Store. Singh’s a top seed on the venue’s juggernaut Roast Battle show, a regular at Hermosa Beach’s Comedy & Magic Club, frequent host at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club on the Las Vegas Strip, and an overseas favorite at The Comedy Store in London.   Between touring clubs and colleges across the country, every April Singh curates the Comedy Stage at Broke L.A.’s indie-arts weekend. Ian Bagg is a world-touring comedian whose comedy was recently described as "dangerously flawless" on the JRE. But he is not just a comedian, he is also the cohost of the weekly hockey podcast, ENJOYING ORANGE SLICES WITH JEFF AND IAN. Early in his life, he discovered a love for hockey. Whether he was involved in minor, junior, pro, or friends getting together to play shinny, he loved hockey! He went to some camps and was cut, realizing he had no chance of making the pros. OWEN SMITH has performed Stand-up on Conan and Colbert.  He’s a regular at the Comedy Store Hollywood and Comedy Cellar in New York.  According to Joe Rogan he is amongst the top comics in the world and “should be more famous than he is.”  Owen returns to Just For Laughs for the first time since he debuted as a New Face in 2002. OWEN created an underground buzz in the comedy world when he shot his hour special “Good Luck Everybody” entirely on ten iPhones then retuned them the next day and got all his money back. A storyteller at heart his personal brand of comedy is comprised of unique angles on fatherhood, marriage, race and his obsession with NPR programming. Owen is also a sought after writer. His writing credits include: ABC’s Black•ish, Survivor’s Remorse (Starz), The Arsenio Hall Show, The ESPY’s (on ESPN with Drake and ABC with Joel McHale), The Guy’s Choice Awards, Whitney(NBC), Deon Cole’s Black Box (TBS), Are We There Yet (TBS), and Everybody Hates Chris.

Nikki Bon is an LA based stand-up comedian, actress and podcast host (duh, who isn’t). Born and raised in Toronto, she gave up her healthcare to peruse her dreams in LA. And as a hypochondriac, that’s a big risk. Ever since training and performing at Second City Toronto, Nikki got the comedy bug and continued on to complete both UCB NYC/LA and Groundlings improv programs which prepared her for her real love, stand-up comedy. You can catch Nikki on season 14 of  America’s Got Talent where she plays her iconic character “Insta Girl”, on CBC Comedy Next Up and teaching her absentee rock and roll dad how to be a father on her podcast Whoa, Dad! And when she’s not parenting her dad, she’s  trying to stay more “in the know” on her YouTube series Blissfully Clueless.
