Los Angeles native Faysal Alkhayat (A.K.A. Faysal Lawrence) is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who is of Saudi Arabian and Iraqi decent. His mother was able to leave Iraq before Faysal was born so he could have a chance at a life without tyranny. Faysal’s mother worked very hard to raise him as a single mother.
