Adam Johnson carefully balances his time composing music for the concert stage, film and media, with being a singer-songwriter and dueling pianos sing-a-long performer. His music varies in styles, depending on the project he is working on, due in part to his diverse background in Classical, Jazz, Musical Theater, Pop, and Latin music. His compositions have been performed and premiered throughout the world including the US, China, Ecuador, Mexico, Europe, the Philippines, Puerto Rico and many rustic recital halls and small dank rooms for an audience of 1 or more. His music has been featured in Youtube animation series', commercials, and film. Adam has a Masters Certificate in Film and Television Composition from the Berklee School of Music and a BA in piano performance from the University of San Diego. He has also done post-graduate work at San Diego State University for composition. He continues to study music as well as other subjects like philosophy, psychology, literature, and home improvement. Adam was the Entertainment Manager and a performer at The Shouthouse in San Diego - a Sing-A-Long Dueling Piano Club - for 11 years where he developed a unique and very successful approach to dueling pianos. He is a proud member of SCL, ASCAP and studies with prolific film composer and educator Hummie Mann.
