Currently, Todd co leads International Orange and The Aeolian Trio, showcasing his ability on drum set as well as hand drums. He was a winner of the Jazziz Percussion on Fire Award, and the Disc Makers Unsigned Band contest. Todd has released 5 albums as a leader, two solo albums and three with International Orange. His playing and recording experience spans genres with musicians including Joe Lovano, Ivan Neville, Mike Gordon, Sizao Machado, Betty Buckley, Al Kooper, Melvin Sparks, Francis Mbappe, Bakithi Kumalo, Dave Liebman, Steve Turre, Jack McDuff, David Krakauer, and many others. He’s also the author of the critically acclaimed book, “You Can Ta Ka Di Mi This”, which incorporates the South Indian rhythm system to ground and expand one’s beat, now in its second printing. He has utilized these concepts for master classes at The Collective in NYC, New York University, Tokyo, Japan, San Francisco St., and in Rio de Janeiro, and Brasilia, Brazil.
