Grammy-nominated saxophonist, composer, and Mack Avenue recording artist Tia Fuller is one of the most dynamic and versatile voices in contemporary jazz. Known for her technical brilliance, melodic imagination, and commanding stage presence, Fuller bridges the worlds of jazz, pop, and R&B with ease. In addition to leading her own acclaimed quartet and recording five celebrated albums—including the Grammy-nominated Diamond Cut—she has performed across the globe and collaborated with an extraordinary roster of artists. Fuller rose to international prominence as a member of Beyoncé’s all-female band on the I AM… Sasha Fierce and Beyoncé Experience world tours, appearing on major TV broadcasts and performing at the White House for President Obama.
A dedicated educator, Fuller is a full-time professor at Berklee College of Music, where she directs premier ensembles and develops industry-forward programs that merge jazz tradition with contemporary performance. She has toured and recorded with Terri Lyne Carrington, Esperanza Spalding, Dianne Reeves, and many other luminaries, while earning prestigious honors including JazzTimes Critics Poll wins, DownBeat accolades, and the Benny Golson Award. Featured in Vanity Fair, DownBeat, JazzTimes, NPR, NBC News, and nationwide campaigns, Fuller continues to expand her artistic footprint.
